Alright! Returning to comment again now that I've beaten the game.
Overall, I enjoyed the experience. The humor was generally solid and I liked the overall 'message' of it. The overall concept was also very fun, and I really liked the idea of the 'Fandome'. It was also fun to visit some 'famous' fics like Full Life Consequences and My Immortal, and mixing and matching items from different universes was entertaining (went into the final battle equipped with Dumblydor's staff, hell yeah). I'm also very impressed that this seems to be made in 'raw' RPGMaker MV without any(?) scripts- I know that's a challenge in itself. I got genuine joy out a few parts- particularly the first time the 'wolf base' appeared.
My main criticisms revolve around the battle system, mapping, and resource placement. When I say mapping, I don't mean the graphics- I actually like how the graphics in this look. I know most of it is default RPGMaker with a mix of extras, but things like unmatching sprites and art really gives it charm. It makes it feel like a passion project made by someone who really wants to tell a story- which, isn't that the point of the game? When I say my problem is with the maps I mean that the maps have a problem a lot of beginner RPG games tend to have- wide open spaces and tunnel maps. And while I could chock that up to the same sort of charm as the graphics, it's less a 'look' issue and more a quality of life thing- crossing through various wide open spaces takes time, and maps that are essentially a winding tunnel for random encounters to beat on you aren't very fun either.
The resource placement and battle system issues are related-- I got stuck early on until I grinded up to level six, and after that I was generally in an ok place for the rest of the game. What I did notice however is that enemies are massive damage sponges- every enemy takes a massive amount of damage to take down, up to several thousands of points of HP. Because I was a high enough level battles basically became an issue of pressing A button until they finally fell down, which because they had so much HP took awhile. It's not much fun and it's a bit of a time suck. Eventually, the enemies will wear you down, especially on SP. That comes the second problem- getting a full restore is really hard and often far between. I was surprised that leveling up didn't perform a restore, and was often surprised at how many cutscenes and non-random battles I'd have to go through before I'd have the opportunity to (pay) for a restore. If you make future revisions to this game, please consider this?
Another thing was the battle against Dio- I don't know anything about Jojo, so I didn't know I had to attack the 'stand' first, so when I beat Dio, he was instantly revived and I got the message that said I had to defeat 'The World' first. I actually shut the game off and restarted at my last save point to do the battle over again. Maybe the hint to destroy the 'stand' should come before the time and hard to get healing items are depleted?
Overall, you made a really solid first time game. You should be proud of what you did. Thank you for making it and I hope my criticism doesn't come off as harsh.
Had some fun playing this, but can't get very far due to being weak/how many hits it takes to defeat enemies. Dying is a gameover and the only way I can see to heal is to get a recovery massage, but defeating enemies doesn't make me enough money to do this reliably. This means I can't really grind to get stronger, because I will die before I get enough money to recover.
I don't know if I'm missing something (I have the pool noodle weapon, a shield, and some healing items that do a shocking low amount of recovery), but I'm pretty stuck. I don't know if this is a balancing issue?
Did encounter a bug once where I could get past the Lucario without prompting a battle, which was nice.
It's a shame, because I would like to play further because I was overall enjoying the jokes/story of the game. The premise is fun.
Am I missing something? Is there a trick to this?

Edit 2- Restarted the game and tried a different set up of equipment and it's helped a lot... not sure why the game decides the pool noodle is a better weapon than the sword when you select 'optimize'...

Game's a little too hard for me. Can't get pass the first boss. Kept losing too much HP and can't deal enough damage.
I don't know much about Dragon Ball lore, but I think it's supposed to be op.

Haven't played in a while but there was a location with salazzles (near the gym I think) who will fully heal you up for free so you can keep grinding.
