Microsoft Sam is back for the holidays in a mostly brand-new adventure!
It's two nights before Christmas Day, 2025, and Sam realizes he forgot to buy presents for the mandatory office Christmas party! Due to spending all his remaining money on "absolute necessities", a broke Sam sets out to the newly-opened mall in hopes of using his wit and cunning to acquire gifts another way while avoiding the watchful eye of a strange fellow in sunglasses.
Packed full of the same humor, graphics, and puzzles you've come to expect from Microsoft Sam, MSSRCS is a heartwarming yuletide tale sure to entertain the entire family* for generations to come.

first up, enjoying this game so far. but also i'm stuck trying to get the code in the anime store and either i haven't found the clues or have and i'm just not seeing it. help? if that's okay? (also sorry for posting before and deleting, i felt weird asking for help)
Talk to the anime clerk and pay close attention to what he says.
i've already seen him say how old he is, i still don't get it. sorry.
The code is his birthday written as MMDDYY.
His dialogue hints at what the month/day are, so you may have to do a bit of math. Checking Sam's calendar in his room will also tell you the current (in-game) date as reference.

nevermind, got it. kept thinking it should be the exact month it is at the moment in game.
